We completely reject the freestanding bed frame. Instead, the sleeping area is a heavily recessed nook carved directly into a monolithic wall. The mattress is sunken seamlessly into an elevated, built-in Ribbed Walnut architectural platform. Draped over this structure is a heavy, unstructured expanse of Raw Linen in muted bone tones. Bathed in fierce 80/20 Solar Saturation, Komorebi leaf-shadows rake across the walnut fluting, anchoring the space in tactile, organic reality.

Refinement vs. Ruin

The wardrobe transition wall is a study in material tension. The perfect 90-degree vertical lines of the Ribbed Walnut built-in cabinetry serve as the structural wall itself, maximizing the compact footprint of the home. Zooming in tightly, we witness the heavy, textured folds of the Raw Linen duvet draping over the sharp, precision-milled edge of the Ribbed Walnut platform.
